14th Annual Celebration of Life Friday, September 23rd Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston 6:00pm - Auction and Reception 7:30pm - Dinner At the 14th Annual Celebration of Life, members of our State House of Representatives will be honored for the landmark victories they achieved during the recent 82nd Legislative Session. These courageous members stood firm to keep the sonogram in the sonogram law, rejecting loopholes allowing abortion clinics to keep the images from the women. Additionally, House members took $64.2 million away from the abortion industry, redirecting funds to other more worthy programs. All eight of our authors to the budget will be honored at this historic event. State Representative Sid Miller (R-Stephenville) will be given the "Pro-Life Legislator of the Year" Award for his tenacious efforts to keep the sonogram bill strong. Representative Miller was key not only to the sonogram bill, but he also led the charge to keep all Texas Right to Life’s Pro-Life amendments on other bills. State Representative Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola) will be honored as the Pro-Life Whip, who oversaw and coordinated all the Pro-Life maneuvers and provisions on the House floor. These are just a few highlights. Elected officials and Pro-Life foot soldiers from around the state will join Texas Right to Life for this tremendous night of celebration.
