Murphy plans third town hall meeting before opening of new district office

State Rep. Jim Murphy and his staff will host a town hall meeting prior to opening a new District 133 office on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Residents of the district are invited to meet with Murphy and his staff and hear an overview of the 80th Legislative Session, including its impact on the district and Harris County.
The town hall meeting will be from 10:30 a.m. - noon in the conference room at 2500 Citywest Blvd., which is located off Westheimer a block west of Beltway 8. Open house at the new district office in Suite 150 will follow until 1 p.m.
"I want to be visible, accountable and accessible as your state representative. This new office and our third town hall meeting fulfill that pedge," said Murphy. Murphy is vice chair of Urban Affairs and is a member of the House Transportation and Rules and Resolution Committees.
